When we are talking about enlightenment we are talking about a fundamental shift within attention. It’s a form of non-attention within attention that is causing all the problems with regards to whether you know consciousness or not. The easiest way to snap out of that problem is to first of all feel the wave of consciousness strike you. Enjoy the wave of Bliss that happens in and around the Self, the Absolute Being. In that first wave the possibility for flooding enters, that is being flooded or overcome with that same Bliss.
When that saturation of deep flooding occurs there’s then a development within attention that restructures the point of view of the perceiver, whereby the perceiver is not resting any longer in a state of duality. The foundation of perception becomes restructured. That’s what awakening is. That’s what happens in awakening so that you come to see from a different place, not see a different thing but see from a different place. So, just the mere abiding in Bliss will itself structure that permanent and ongoing realization of the Self.
You’ll be shocked to see what it is. It can be quite dramatic to in the initial stages live in that newfound perspective, which is not a perspective it’s the truth. That’s what makes it so shocking is that it’s not the development out of some other sequence of understanding. It is a penetration right into the root of understanding itself. It’s very powerful, and because it’s so powerful you can’t really miss it. It’s not an event that can possibly be missed.
