Because of the subtle nature of darshan and spiritual transmission you might not always recognize that it’s happening. It may just fall on you silently. Yet later on, at a time perhaps, when you are not suspecting, the presence of that consciousness will make itself known to you. You’ll realize that your life has been touched by something deep and that you are different. You are something entirely different. You begin to intuit that liberation is occurring. The “me” is being transformed or dissolved. You can say it’s being transformed into Being or you can say it’s just being dissolved or lightened. There are many descriptions we can use but they all point to the same thing, that fundamentally at the very core of all your perception, there is a felt sensation of identity and it is deep in that region where awakening happens. That’s the place of consciousness.

The reason why we meditate is just to hear the noise and to observe how it dissipates, without any internal motion. We don't have a pure self in back of it all that wipes things away and fixes our mind and makes us clean. Every mind within is a ...
For someone who is immersed unconditionally in the Paramatman-Consciousness, that is dissolved in It completely and forever, this Being might manifest or generate various Transmissions, that might even seem to be incompatible, such as Energy and ...
Sahaja samadhi is a Self-Sustaining Condition. It does not need to be tended. It does not need to be even realized -- or re-realized. It’s eternally Self-Realizing -- and it has no locale. It’s not about the “Inner Self.” It has nothing to do ...
All the faith that you harness will be through your own experience. The deep faith and trust and perseverance you show in continuing to come here, entering into this Relationship -- all that is based on your own Self-recognition. It’s the ...
Participant: I have a question. David: Okay. Participant: … Something that changes: I'm noticing the light in my eyes seems different. I don't think I have cataracts and it’s, um, just my vision changed about a year and a half ago, in terms of ...
Participant: Even though the personality persists, would you say that there's a space of recognition between Essence and personality? So you can just see it, you know, and it keeps popping up at you, the more familiar you get with its ...
Enlightenment is a State of Being not a state of the mind and yet it’s only through the mind that that State of Being can dawn. It’s a transcendental state of perception that is revealed to the mind as long as is necessary for the mind to be ...
