Radiant Bliss Transcends Usefulness, December 9, 2009

Moderator: I have felt an Energetic Fullness when watching your videos. I feel radiant. What do I do now? How do I use this in my everyday life?

David: It does not need to be put to use. Let this become fully absorbed into your Being, this Bliss- Radiance that is emanated in this teaching. Let it simply absorb and intoxicate you. Enjoy it. Become an expert meditator through it — and then — quietly watch and see how your outer behaviors are affected, and also how you begin to carry this Beauty. Watch how people notice. You will get innuendos and signs that something is changing in you. You’re environment will tell you. So even if you can’t see it yourself, your environment will begin to talk to you, but in a subtle way, where this listening, this very special form of listening, and observation, is active. It sounds to me like you’re doing very well just studying my work on YouTube or on my websites. So just continue that and watch how this beautiful seed grows, how it sprouts into something new of its own volition.

Moderator: The viewer comments, “There is such an illumined clarity that comes from the Radiance, beyond conception or thinking what you need to do next.”

David: Right. So because of that quality, this illuminative quality, because it’s so profound and so basic to human intelligence, you don’t need to apply it. It will find its way to the rest of your body-mind and then into your environment. Then, once it finds its way into the environment, the environment begins to talk back to you in That — in that language of simple Being and Radiant Consciousness. So this clearly transcends the need to apply it.

You can only apply something through effort. Effort is based on force, whether the force is subtle or gross, whether it is hidden or obvious. Either way it has to be projected; it has to be applied. All of that is indicated in “usefulness.” But here we are talking about simply letting the quality of Being Itself quietly magnify through your human individuality. Perhaps even beyond your human individuality. So instead of us seeking for some result in this Yoga that we are engaging, this Divine Practice, this Consideration, we’re just going to stay open and without conclusion. We’re going to watch and observe and care for this, just as you would care for a plant or a pet. You care for it — you watch over it, you feed it. So this too is fed by dwelling on Me; dwelling on your own Self; dwelling on these Teachings that you are receiving now. And they will sprout of their own Organic Power, their own Organic Growing-Power. So just relax and be free from all stressful considerations. This is the one time I want you to be free of yourself; when you are with me. Just let yourself go completely. Just relax; carry no burden.

Moderator: And the viewer comments, “It becomes as easy as enjoying a rose, the sun or ocean, effortless love and true compassion beyond anything fathomable.”
