Moderator: A viewer in Bangkok has a couple of questions. “The more we find this place, the more unfolding, the faster we evolve into the one.”
David: I’m hesitant to say faster. Faster is an idea projected by the relative mind that is feeling a bit impatient with things. I would rather say to simply enjoy each moment of your evolutionary process. Each moment affords you awakening. It’s deceptive to assume that one can accumulate repeated exposures to Being and then somehow magnify or quicken the process. That’s really the language of a time bound, space bound mind. The language of liberation is that it doesn’t matter how long it takes. I’m too busy soaking in Being to care when this ever culminates. Your enlightenment is now, it’s never in the future.
Moderator: The viewer comments, “Thank you, great.”
David: Samadhi is reality itself. It's not merely a personal state of Consciousness. It cannot be reduced to a trance state or some kind of fixed absorption in Consciousness. Certainly, that describes one aspect of samadhi having to do with ...
David: Do you understand that it’s the I-sense that disappears in these great experiences? Participant 1: Yes, gets out of the way. David: So, that’s the balancing act, is to accept that. To be without the I, and then come back to the I, because ...
David: One of the things I thought I’d mention today, which occurred to me as I was driving here, that the only real strength in the mind, when we talk about the mind’s strength, having a strong mind, is in its absorption in Being. That’s its ...
David: The Kundalini Shakti is a central aspect of my teaching and my spiritual communication. In and of itself it’s a path to the Divine. It’s also an expression of a quality of the Being itself, of Being or the Divine itself. You see, through ...
Moderator: Ohio viewer, “I walked by a group of Christians worshipping on campus and praising God, and I was moved to tears and my heart opened. It’s like my pain dissolved into love, but after leaving I went back to my previous state. David: ...
Self Realization is an empty state. It contains nothing within It. That state, actually, comes about as the mind dissolves into the Absolute. When that dissolution is final, then Self Realization is permanent. The mind, however, does continue to ...
Enlightenment is not a subjective experience. It's not a particular subjective experience and it is not an experience that is ongoing in your subjectivity. Enlightenment is the waking up of Consciousness Itself, the disintegration of the ...
Enlightenment must be to your satisfaction. No Guru, no Master, no Enlightened Being can tell you when your process has consummated. It's simply a question of quenching all of your spiritual thirsts and only you can truly know when that happens. ...
Attendee: That seems to be a difficult one for most people that I know. It's like a very difficult one, especially “certain teachers,” who shall remain “nameless” — you know, who have committed actual criminal acts and still seem to have ...
And so each person has a great journey to travel. A journey which will not be replicated in anyone else. So when you become enlightened, it's not he Buddha becoming enlightened again, it's not Krishna remembering his divinity again, it's a whole ...
David: Really, these frequencies of Transmission belong to nobody. They don't live in any individual being. So to take ownership of them and say that they are “mine” is incorrect. If you’ve heard me say something that's sounds like that, then ...
Even when we sit here, in this intimate, small group, we can become aware of two things: one is the deep, witness-based Silence of Total Meditation; the other is the profound Current or Energy that runs through that Silence. In the ancient ...
