An Organic Civilization, April 10, 2010

David: There is a gigantic wave of transformation coming, transformation that will be conducted by nature and the forces of nature, not with human cooperation but in spite of human non-cooperation. There are tendencies as expressed in the world economic system, the governmental systems of the world, that indicate that the human being is profoundly gripped in myopic viewpoints and absolute selfishness, and that selfishness or greed is going to become extinct at some point due to many reasons, several reasons.

We will see how it all plays out. I’m not a psychic, so I’m not going to give you details. But, you don’t need to be a psychic to see that things are very corrupt these days. And the viewpoint and intelligence of the human community is so anti-organic and anti-common sensical from the viewpoint of nature’s intelligence, that it would be really a leap of the imagination for anyone not to conclude that there must be gigantic transformation or at least the destruction of the present viewpoint.

What will be on the other side of that gigantic revelation of failure and ineptness and callousness and selfishness we don’t know, but the phoenix always rises from its own ashes, out of destruction comes more creation. That’s not something to give you hope, it’s just an organic fact. There’s only transformation of energy on this planet and transformation of energy throughout the entire Universe. The Universe is just a play of energy, and even in the most dense circles that transformation still goes on.

The antidote to the selfishness that we see displayed in the human race today is its dwelling away from money making and profit motivated activities toward a more organic style of living. That organic style of living will be structured in deeper emotions and intellectual pursuits. It will also be structured and made possible by existentialist meditation, existential meditation, meaning meditation which transcends the various forms of God that are symbolized in the various religious traditions on the planet.

That will be the next major evolutionary leap for the human race, to exit out of its childlike fascination with religion and anthropomorphized Gods and monotheistic systems to a more all inclusive and organic form of seeing. Beauty, truth, aesthetics, proportion, the motive to inspire life with the highest aspirations of the human being is what will create a different civilization. It will be a civilization based not just on art but also on the best of what science has to offer and beyond those two, on the inner mechanics of awakening that are displayed in nature through realized beings. Realized beings will become the focal point for the new civilization in providing the basic atmosphere in which to function.

They don’t necessarily have political solutions or economic solutions, but they provide the basic atmosphere in which humans can think clearly, in which the Light, the Light of Being is shed forth in all directions alleviating many of the fears, the irrational fears such as fighting over which God is the real God. All of those peripheral and congested forms of suffering will be dissolved, and what will replace it will be a more open-minded exposition on reality itself, one that understands that the human being within him or herself, within itself is capable of knowing everything there is in existence by simply turning the attention within.

Also it will have access to outer avenues of knowledge, which will be artistically structured. Art and beauty, the love of truth, wisdom, friendship will all predominate. The profit motive will be flushed down the toilet in favor of group cooperation and group undertakings that favor what human beings have in common, which is not this or that God or this or that food or this or that dress code but the existence, the pure existence that is feeding the mind at the root of attention.

Beauty is non-denominational. It has no particular expression, the idea of beauty itself. So therefore, it’s something that can unite many people from many geographical locations. Truth pursued as an event within Consciousness and not as a series of truth affirmative statements will also unite human beings. The truth can only be one thing. It can’t be many things. Certainly there are individual truths, but those are divorced from the centrality of the idea of truth. It’s that which gives limited truth-based understandings their inherent general truthfulness. So, the idea of truth is much larger than any particular truth that any human being can have.

It’s very possible that human beings could begin to recognize that they could be united in the field of beauty and truth and providing nurturance. Instead what has happened is that there’s an eternal warfare between the managers of economic systems and the innocent masses that go along with the scam, and this will not change until that sort of functioning becomes obsolete. It can only become obsolete when the atmosphere does not support it. So, there’s got to be a generalized issuance of Light and Bliss in the atmosphere which is foreign to the activity of greed, an atmosphere which is only permissive of a more expanded style of functioning.
