Beyond the Formless, January 9, 2007

Self Realization is an empty state. It contains nothing within It. That state, actually, comes about as the mind dissolves into the Absolute. When that dissolution is final, then Self Realization is permanent. The mind, however, does continue to arise after Self Realization and function[s] within It.

There can be an uncanny Radiance that emerges out of the state of Self Realization. The body, the physical nervous system will sometimes project Light. That Light is the transformation of the Self Realized condition by Love. Love is what produces that Radiance, Devotion.

So, even though Self Realization is empty, nevertheless, various flavors may emerge from It – some energetic, some visual, some emotional. So, therefore, Self Realization is not a static and barren condition. As long as a human nervous system goes on living, flavors and fragrances, various manifestations, will continue to occur; to communicate, on a sensory level, the presence of Self Realization.

So, this should clear up questions and concerns about whether Realization of the formless is capable of manifesting itself as physical light, divine fragrances, Kundalini Shakti, Devotional Intoxication, etc., etc. It should clear up all those questions.
Once again, the reason for the flavors that happen after Self Realization are for others. They’re to demonstrate to others the presence of that Absolute Consciousness, which is the Unknown, which is beyond everything — Absolute and Eternal.
